15 American premiums later: That aerovette will be clutch for me in 70s events. Though the aerovetter (xp822) wasn't nearly as pretty as the Astros 2 (xp880), pic from a trip to the vette museum.(Still looking for one of the aero, will post when I find)
Fun fact: the drivetrain in the aerovetter tips the scale at just under 1000lbs. Not sure a low c.d. could make it efficient no matter what.

Your comment at the time was right - it did look too good. Those RQ scores were an early draft, probably before we had outfitted the car with its off-road tyres.
