just out of curiosity, are those numbers based on non-upgraded cars? I mean not even the regular, basic upgrades?

So, the Alfa Romeo 164 ProCar - is this something to relax with?

This is an extremely unusual car, with a very low 0-60 and weight, but just about the worst MRA. In Top Drives terms, that makes it a bit of a specialist: the low MRA keeps the RQ down, but in tracks where high speed is less important it will do very well.

You can see it in these results: with 3 less RQ than the Moby Dick, it still manages to win as soon as the track gets twisty enough.
This Alfa weighs 750kg with an F1 engine strapped to it I think this having 60 MRA is extremely off

Should be obvious this shouldn't lose to a 12C

At the same time, we can see the MRA of the KTM :)

But yes I am quite surprised by the MRA of the car...

Yes, I run all these 'stock'. The most important aspect is the comparison vs other cars, so upgrade level isn't as important; keeping it stock also means it's easier to check performance against real life... which seems to have come in handy just now.

So... what's the guess for the next re-run. My guess is that it will probably be something I have already but also be something I have a strong hand in. So I can use my strong hand for a non prize car

ME Four-Twelve or Sport quattro S1 is my guess

Also hoping for the strong hand luck.

Would love another go at the Audi.
The owners challenge reward would have to be great.

The owners challenge should be great you mean, based on history it would probably just be ok.

I am hoping for the Lancer since I already have one. If not that, then I hope for the Peugeot Pikes Peak or Audi S1.

Corvette Z06 has been over 3 years since it was awarded

I recall discussion on a Corvette prized car being useless (or not) not so long ago, am I wrong ?

    More looking at the Chrysler.

Also, will we have A prized car again? Because you can win them in the flotting tags. (The Holden for exemple)
Of course, there is the problem of the Camaro and Lancer.

It has been two years since the Lancer was rerun.  I forgot about that.

Dont suppose you have an up to date version of this spreadsheet do you as it seems to have lost all the prizecar data when I open it.

@lemmings99o I forgot to undo a filter the last time I was in it.  It should be good now.

Even though it's a re-run, the SLS GT3 was last awarded 3 years ago and as I recall only the top 2 won it (but we ran the final 'twice', once dry, once wet), so perhaps worth benchmarking this one:

The MRA is decent, but the big question is how much benefit there is to that high handling when the SLS GT3 is not that light. The extra weight means it performs worse in slaloms, but it can edge a win against the RQ93 Moby Dick in the G-Force and Car Park, and against the RQ90 Porsche 917 when the circumstances are right.

Thanks for the benchmarks @Hutch_Tim. What I would like to know is how it performs against other GT3 cars in the game, so the Bentley Continental and McLaren GT3 Cars.

Any chance of a comparison chart with the Bentley Hunaudières?

One of these - some of the oldest prize cars awarded
  • KcrayKcray Posts: 212 ✭✭✭
Both of those would be interesting. I am going to guess the Peugeot Pike's Peak.
  • lemmings99olemmings99o Posts: 1,871 ✭✭✭✭✭
I'm thinking either the Peugeot 905 or 908 slick tyre race cars
  • AslanVAslanV Posts: 1,067 ✭✭✭
I would go for an American, like Chrysler or Cadillac

It's a repeat, so won't be those unless Hutch breaks tradition again.

I dont think there's any set rule tho, and while it usually alternates between new and rerun, it doesn't always.
And I think they need a big one soon to really drive pack openings.
