Let's see if this thing was worth it. Anyone else want to add to this? My blue STi is partially fused, so I can't provide 333 times for it.

Isn't that one known to be a relatively poor dragger? Thought midrange  wasn't the best. I wouldn't know...still don't have one
  • AntounAntoun Posts: 1,183 ✭✭✭✭✭
I confirm this Lancer is a no midrange car, but it’s still an Epic RQ26 with much better stats shown. The Sub is faster with one point lower in RQ 😉

Then how about fully upgraded rq21 subi? I dont have it but it has really good mra and usually beat my epics subis.

    RQ21 WRX @ 996
    1/4 Mile: 13.13
    1/2 Mile: 20.40
    1 Mile    : 33.20

So with a fuse or two the 22b beats on all the drags.

    Edit:
    30-130: 17.20
    75-125: 10.63

And as a Bonus, here are some times of the RQ21 Subaru also at 333:

    1/4 mile: 13.90
    1/2 mile: 21.46
    1 mile: 34.60
    75-125: 12.46
    Test Bowl: 148

Maybe some wet weather comparison would also be useful. The newer Subies might have a chance there.

I'm assuming we should be going for 969 on this then?
  • PlantedZebraPlantedZebra Posts: 884 ✭✭✭✭
Here's a little bonus to aid you guys on the comparison, the 2014 Impreza maxed 2/3/3's drag times. (#refuseadapt969 lol)
    1/4 mile: 12.93s @ 108mph
    1/2 mile: 20.50s @ 127mph
    1 mile: 33.66s @ 143mph
    30-130mph: 20.43s
    75-125mph: 13.26s

And I straight up burned 9 spare ultra rares into this Impreza after the 22B finals... I might've lost it back then, because maxing this thing is definitely not a smart idea... hehe.

Hmmm. The volvo polestar does the 1 mile standing in 32.00 and the 30-130mph in 15.30.
It does the city street small in 36.20
Tuned to 969 plus traction control and abs for the same RQ.

Interesting. Still, the Subaru would get used much more frequently I bet given how common Japanese restrictions are.

Wow, didn't know the Polestar is such a beast.

Look at my edited comment near the beginning of the post with rain track times. The 22B still wins a majority. Will have to wait for @Ozzman (or someone else) to fill out the black STi times to make sure, but it’s safe to say the 22B is the most versatile (best?) epic subie

To be fair ABS and TCS seem to make hardly any difference in this game. As can be seen by some of the wet times further up, the 22B still wins in rain on about half the tracks. It only starts losing out on some of the particularly twisty tracks.

And adding TCS to the Caterham Levante seemed to make it worse  :D

You’re right on that, not sure if it’s just been since the last update or what but having TC and ABS should make more of a difference than it does.

They seem to be working more on non 4wd cars and not so much on 4wd.

    I’ve corrected this for you.

As someone who has owned both an Impreza Turbo and an XC90 in the past, I can tell you that Subarus are definitely better.

Not really a direct comparison between the two :)

It’s the best I’ve got 😛. Have driven other Volvos and they’re generally really dull - numb steering, poor handling. Immensely practical and well put together, but make you die a little inside every time you drive them.

If you’re someone who actually bought a Justy, your opinion is clearly without any merit.
