If you enjoy using your C,D,E,F class cars in everyday events - then you can continue doing so. But if you want to get more S,A,B cars you should stop upgrading those. Just smurf all events, anyway you can climb to tier1-2 after a one day smurf and get ceramic.
By doing so you can open 2-4 ceramics every day. Or you can keep money and make some big opening. You need to open about 133 ceramics to get 1 S car. And as you can see - so you can actually get 1 S car every month.
Upgrade cars only if you see that they will garantee you tier1-2 in current event. There are enough time to fully upgrade any car (apart S)
@Hutch_Robin any chance of seeing some data on progression through this event? It'd be fascinating to see how many people (or what proportion of the active player base) got 3 of the smarts / rovers? I'd love to know what portion got only one or two as well.

I'm not sure how much detail we should share on this, but I'll give a rough high-level view:
- If the maximum possible number of people qualified (i.e. everyone won either 0 or exactly-as-many-prize-cars-as-needed in each round), with T1 in the Final being top 20 instead of Top 8 out of 500 it would have been an easier-than-usual Final competition. Of course we expected some drop-off so it would turn out to be a bit more competitive than usual - hence the 'Carbons for everyone that qualifies' Final prizes. - Of the people who won at least 1 Smart, a lot of them (over 1/3) got 4 or more! - Of the people who won at least 1 Rover, a lot of them (over 1/2) only got 1...
The combined result is that only a small proportion of the player base makes it to the final, so we're looking into altering the size of the prize tiers from that original plan.
Overall it seems to have gone down quite well as a format (albeit a bit of an odd way to use lower rarity prize cars), but in my opinion this latter stage proved a bit too brutal, and if we were to do this again should probably work differently.

My luck (or lack of) has to go somewhere so maybe you can have it?
Echoing everyone else, its all about the farming.
Don't do what I did and max two Super Rare Honda when you don't really need to!
Ahhh restarted and it was in my holding area.
That's a bit poor planning imo.
So, ACR, Demon, 2x Hellcat & Superbird?
No chance for the ZR1 anyway but Monday is a disaster for me 😵🔫
(Lower your expectations)
