Subaru BRZ PvP Event Now Live!

Hey Rebels,
Today we’re excited to launch our first PvP event, BRZ Head-to-head! Read on to find out how it’ll work and what you could win.
What Are PvP Events?
PvP stands for ‘player versus player’. PvP events let you put your racing skills to the test by pitting you against the ghost cars of other real players. Beating another player’s ghost will award you trophies which will determine your position on the leaderboard. Losing races will lose you trophies. At the end of the event, you’ll receive rewards based on your final position on the leaderboard.
How to Enter
To enter, simply select the PvP event pin on the map. You’ll then be
shown entry requirements for the event, the prizes on offer and any
other important information.
Entry to the event will require a one time payment of 100 Gold and
access to purchase the event car (in today’s event, that’s the Subaru
BRZ) if you don’t already own it.
Once you’ve entered the event, you’ll be able to race as long as you have enough event tickets and fuel.
Picking Opponents
After entering a race, you’ll be asked to pick one of three opponents, each offering an increasingly difficult challenge based on their latest lap time. Taking on and beating a faster lap time will net you more trophies.
Prize Tiers
Prizes will vary between PvP events. In our first events there will be seven prize tiers offering Cash, Gold, Gold Keys, Silver Keys and Bronze Keys and more as prizes.
Trophies
At the end of an Event your global trophy score will be updated. The higher your trophies the higher your status, you’ll also see better PvP event prizes as you move up the ranks.Trophy ranks are split like this:
Novice: 0 - 1,999 Trophies
Racer: 2,000 - 3,499 Trophies
Challenger: 3,500 - 5,999 Trophies
Contender: 6,000 - 9,999 Trophies
Champion: 10,000 - 14,999 Trophies
Pro Racer: 15,000 - 25,000 Trophies
Legend: 25,000+ Trophies
Known Issues
As this is our first time running a PvP event, you may experience some bugs as you play. Below is a list of issues which we’ll keep updated - so, if you come across a bug, be sure to let us know by replying to this thread!
Following are the rare issues we’re currently aware of and currently working to fix:
The difficulty shown in the opponent select screen may not accurately reflect their actual difficulty.
Players may load into the wrong track when entering an event
Slow-mo cam may incorrectly toggle on during a race, resulting in the race being lost
We’d love to know your opinions, feedback and ideas for our latest event type, so be sure to post below!
