Today we're excited to announce a brand new event: Grand Prix™️! Read on for full details.

What are Grand Prix™️ Events?

Grand Prix™️ Events are 5-day long events where you can compete against other players from around the world to win huge prizes. Most of the time, they will be synced with the official Formula 1® calendar.

They are split into 3 rounds:

• Qualifying Round (Wednesday / Thursday / Friday)

• Opening Round (Saturday)

• Final Round (Sunday)

You will have to go through a series of races in each round to fight and make the cut for the next one!

Scoring

As in Duels mode, you score points based on the final positions of your two drivers. These two scores added together give your total score for the race. Scores will then accumulate throughout each round. The higher your score, the higher up the leaderboard you will finish!

You will not earn crates for winning Grand Prix™️ Event races, but the Coins earned will count towards your Weekly League rank.

Qualifying Round

When you first enter a Grand Prix™️ Event, you will automatically be placed into a qualification group. Races will be played against players outside your group.

Place in the top 50% of players in your group to proceed to the Opening Round. Please, note that you only win prizes if you make it to the Final Round.

Don’t worry if you fail to qualify as there are a total of 3 qualifying days running one after the other from Wednesday to Friday. You only need to qualify in any 1 of these 3 days to make the cut for the Opening Round!

Opening Round

If you have been successful during the Qualifying Round, you will make it into the Opening Round.

Once again, you will be placed into a group of other F1® Manager players, only this time the group will be much bigger with more competitors and more races. You will have to plan every race carefully to make it to the Final Round.

Final Round

Only the very best managers will make it to the Final Round, and at this stage you will be competing against the cream of the crop.

Getting this far is no easy feat, so all players who manage to reach it are guaranteed to receive a prize! How good that prize is will be determined by your final Grand Prix™️ Event position! Do you think you have what it takes to be crowned number one?

Where can Grand Prix™️ Events be accessed?

Grand Prix™️ Events can be found next to the “Duels” option in the game mode menu — after selecting “Race” on the home screen.

Please note that there will not always be an active Grand Prix™️ Event to join. Be sure to follow us on social networks to keep up to date with the latest news and announcements!

What are the different Grand Prix™️ Events difficulties?

There are multiple Grand Prix™️ Events difficulties you can enter. The maximum level of difficulty available is determined by your Weekly League division:

• Junior: Accessible to divisions Junior I, Junior II and Junior III

• Challenger: Accessible to divisions Challenger I, Challenger II and Challenger III

• Contender: Accessible to divisions Contender I, Contender II and Contender III

The entry fee to join a Grand Prix™️ Event, as well as to start each race, will depend on the selected difficulty. You can also enter any level of difficulty below your current division, but keep in mind that prizes increase with difficulty!

What happens if I don’t finish a race?

If you fail to finish a race you started, or if you forfeit it, you will get the minimum possible score of 3.

Can I win or lose Flags from Grand Prix™️ Event races?

Flags are not used in Grand Prix™️ Event races, however it is still possible to win or lose Coins like in Duels.

What happens if I have the same score as another player in a Grand Prix™️ Event?

If several players have the same score, a series of “Tiebreaker rules” are applied:

Qualifying Round

1. Number of Grand Prix™️ races completed - the more races completed the better (only counts the current Qualifying Round)

2. Players that are still tied after these rules will share the position

Opening Round

1. Average Qualifying Round score - the higher the better

2. Number of Grand Prix™️ races completed - the more races completed the better (only counts the Qualifying Round the user passed in)

3. Players that are still tied after these rules will share the position

Final Round

1. Average Qualifying Round score - the higher the better

2. Average Opening Round score - the higher the better

3. Number of Grand Prix™️ races completed - the more races completed the better (only counts the qualifying round the user passed in)

4. Players that are still tied after these rules will share the position and will receive the same prize

We'd love to hear your feedback on our newest event type - so be sure to share your thoughts with us below!
